20-Sided Dice Drinking Game

This game is best played with 5 players, though you can have some more.

Steps

  1. Each player takes a turn rolling a 20-sided dice.
  2. The person who rolls the greatest number is called the D20 roller. The game is now played between him and a team formed of all the other players.
  3. Each team member is handed a 6-sided dice while the D20 roller has the 20-sided one.
  4. The D20 player rolls his dice and the number he gets is his total.
  5. All four people in the team roll their dice. The sum of the numbers they get is their total.
  6. The one with the lower total drinks as many times as the difference of the totals.
  7. If the D20 roller is the loser, he holds the same position for the next round. If he wins, he can choose another player to replace him.

Three Man

Steps

  1. All players sit around a table and take turns in rolling a dice.
  2. As soon as someone rolls a 3, he becomes the three man.
  3. Now, each player gets to roll two dice.

The drinking rules are as follows.

  • If the total of the two dice is 3, the three man drinks. If he himself is the roller, he can pass on the title to another player.
  • If the dice total is 7, the person to the right of the roller drinks.
  • If it is 11, the person to the left drinks.
  • If it is 9, the person sitting opposite to the roller drinks.
  • If it is 10, everyone drinks.
  • If a 4 and 1 are rolled, the person throwing them becomes the thumb master. He can place his thumb on the table at any time during the game. Then all the other players must drink and place their thumbs on the table. The last one to do it has to drink. The thumb master changes when any other person rolls a 4 and 1.

7 11 Doubles

This game can be played with four or more players by rolling two dice. Place a pint-sized glass at the center of the table around which the players sit. Draw a line on the glass indicating 1/4th full and fill it with beer up to the mark. Place a pitcher of beer close to the glass for easy refilling.

Steps

  1. The first player rolls both the dice until he rolls a 7, 11 or a double when he can nominate another player to drink from the glass.
  2. As soon as the second player touches the glass, the roller grabs the dice and starts rolling until he lands a 7, 11 or double again. The object is to down the glass before the said values of dice are rolled.
  3. If the second player can’t finish his glass before a 7, 11 or double is played, the game starts again until the drinker beats the roller.
  4. Once the drinker wins or loses 5 consecutive times, the dice are passed clockwise to the next player who tries a hand at rolling a 7, 11 or a double to nominate another drinker. The game proceeds in the same way as above.

7 11 Dice Game Rules

If the dice falls off the table, the roller should drink a full pint. If the roller touches the dice before the drinker can touch the glass, the roller needs to drink. You can also play the game with shot glasses.

Liar’s Dice

Play 7 or 11 dice game

This is a Chinese drinking game that is quite easy. Each player plays with 5 dice that is known as his stash. The total dice of all the players is known as the pool. You can play the game with 2 or more players. In case there are more than two players, sit in a circle around a table and decide in the beginning if the game should proceed clockwise or anti-clockwise.

7 Or 11 Dice Game

Steps

  1. All the players roll a dice. The one who rolls the highest number becomes player one.
  2. Each player places his stash in a cup, covers the cup with his hand, shakes it well and places the cup upside down on the table. Then the cup is lifted, keeping the stash hidden from public view.
  3. Now player one calls out how many dice of a certain value are on the table. For example, two fives. The other players can either believe him and pass on to the next player who becomes player two or any one player can call him a liar.
  4. Now player two has to make a call, which should be a greater value than that of player one. For example, he can call three fives or four two’s but not less than three of something, for example, two sixes.
  5. If his call is believed, the game proceeds as above with player three, but if not, he is called a liar.
  6. Once a player calls another one a liar, all players reveal their stack to check if the former is correct. If he is right, the latter loses and drinks. If he is wrong, he loses and drinks. The winner is the player one of the next round.

Dice Football

In this drinking game that is at times referred to as dice hockey, you have to form two teams (with the same number of members) with the party peeps. They sit at the opposite sides of a table facing each other. You have to make an “end zone” or goal post by sticking tape in a line at about 4-5 inches from both the table edges.

Steps

  1. Each team takes turns at rolling a dice. The aim is to make it land in the end zone.
  2. As soon as a team succeeds in making a “goal”, the number on the dice denotes the points earned by that team.
  3. The opposing team takes as many drinks as the points earned. The drink can be divided among all the team members.
  4. The game is continued until a team reached 44 points to win. The losing team takes 4 drinks.
